Captive Client Accounting Services

We are familiar with , and act for clients registered under the favorable taxation provisions of the US IRC Sections including 501(c)(15), 831(b) and 816, as well as 953(d). We are also familiar with the provisions of the UK's Finance Act 2000 and related FRS provisions.

Our services however are driven by the compliance issues relating to the satisfactory financial reporting of BVI registered captives and insurance companies under The Insurance Act, 1994. We prepare accounts according to the BVI Financial Services Commission’s preferred International Accounting Standard.

Our services complement those of the tax advisor, lawyer or accountant in the parent company’s country and cannot replace them as we do not hold ourselves out as offering tax advice. We are able to refer clients to a number of suitable advisors whose work is well known to AMSI and who have demonstrable BVI experience acceptable to the BVI Financial Services Commission.

Our accounting services are provided by an experienced Chartered Accountant. Fees are projected according to transaction volume and anticipated billable hours.
